Artifact Page Redesign - Session Summary
Bento-Box Interface & UX Improvements
Today we redesigned the artifact template page to solve a critical information architecture challenge: how to provide both quick-scan overview and deep-dive access without forcing users to scroll through massive amounts of content. We developed a hybrid bento-box layout for the hero section that displays compact previews of all major content areas—artifact info, people, banner image, summary, action items, initiatives, and transcript—while linking to full sections below. Added a sticky navigation system with active section indicators and persistent labels that makes moving through the page effortless. The design maintains visual hierarchy while giving users control over how they consume information.
Custom Script Enhancements
We modified and created several custom JavaScript implementations to power the new interface. Updated the artifact timeline to display other meeting artifacts along a horizontal axis at the bottom of the info box, showing temporal context at a glance with subtle month/week markers and meeting dates. Modified the action items box to show task counts per person rather than full task lists, creating a cleaner summary view. Adjusted initiative customizations to conditionally resize boxes—maintaining original sizing in the bento area while allowing larger cards in the detailed section below. Added tag-hiding functionality to clean up the summary rich text, and fixed transcript formatting after the DOM restructuring.
Webhook Integration for Actionable Tasks
Building on the improved action items display, we're now implementing a webhook system to make tasks truly actionable. This will allow action items to sync with project management systems or trigger notifications, moving beyond static display to create an interactive workflow where team members can claim, complete, or update tasks directly from the artifact page. This transforms the artifact template from a meeting record into a living project coordination tool that integrates seamlessly with the broader Iris Cocreative CRM automation ecosystem.

built a comprehensive n8n automation system that transforms raw meeting data into fully-structured artifact pages. The workflow ingests meeting transcripts from Fireflies, processes them through Claude AI for intelligent summarization and content extraction, then automatically populates Airtable records with structured data including meeting summaries, action items, relevant initiatives, and participant information. This eliminates the manual work of parsing hour-long conversations and ensures every meeting generates a consistent, well-formatted artifact page within minutes of the call ending. The system intelligently identifies key discussion points, extracts timestamp-referenced insights, and organizes content into the standardized sections that feed directly into your Webflow CMS through Whalesync.
The workflow goes beyond simple transcription by implementing AI-powered analysis that creates actionable outputs. Claude processes the meeting content to identify and generate specific action items with assigned owners, determines which existing initiatives are relevant to the discussion, and even suggests new initiatives when emerging projects are detected in the conversation. The system parses technology tags, participant roles, and project context to ensure artifacts are properly linked across your CRM ecosystem. This automation doesn't just save time—it creates a living knowledge base where every conversation automatically generates structured, searchable, interconnected project documentation that feeds your client portal, internal tracking systems, and communication workflows. What previously took hours of manual work now happens automatically while you're moving on to the next meeting.
